How much does the tour cost?
The tour costs $30.00 USD (approx. 300 pesos). And includes An "I survived" t-shirt. Snacks! A complimentary drink (or two)! Local entertainment! And more!
How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts approximately 6 hours and covers about 6 city blocks in distance. TackyBarTour.com Cantina crawl is one of the most leisurely tours you will find in Puerto Vallarta.
Which nights do you operate?
7 nights a week.

How do I make a reservation?
You can purchase tickets online by clicking here.
Do we need to make reservations in advance?
Yes, advanced purchase is required for all bar Tours. Some tours sell out quickly so get your tickets early!
Any remaining tickets not sold prior to each tour will be available for walk-in purchase on a space-available basis at the starting location beginning 30 minutes before the tour. Advance purchase is highly recommended to ensure your spot.
How much advance notice is sufficient for my reservation?
Although it is often possible to make a reservation within a day of the tour that you would like to take, it is advisable to plan ahead and we highly recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance.
Is transportation provided?
No, hence the name "walking tour," "cantina crawl," etc.
All cantinas are within walking distance of each other. Clients are responsible for their own transportation to meeting place and from last cantina on tour.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your reservation at any time for any reason with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Just call our office and we will be glad to assist you. A 50% refund will be issued (as T-shirts will have already been purchased).
What kind of food is included on the Puerto Vallarta Tacky Bar Tour?
All of the cantinas provide complimentary snacks, and the tour will take you past one of the best taco stands in Old Town.
Should I tip my guide after the tour?
It is customary to offer your guide a small tip if you are pleased with the quality of your tour and you would like to express your gratitude for a job well done!
How many people are usually on each tour?
Our average tours consist of 10-20 people. We can, however, accommodate up to 40 for private group outings.
Do I have to wear my Tacky Bar Tour T-shirt on the tour?
Yes. Your TBT t-shirt will distinguish you from other patrons. Your guide will be able to recognize the group at a glance. It is also important, that cantina staff and management, are able to identify who is part of the tour and who is not.
Can people with wheelchairs go on these tours?
We are sorry to say we cannot accommodate persons in wheelchairs due to the cobblestone streets as well as the lack of accessability to some of the cantinas as they are on second floors.
Do you provide privately guided tours?

Are there any age restrictions for your tours?
Yes, you must be 21 years of age to purchase a ticket for the Cantina Crawl.
What if it rains?
We get wet....
Can we bring a camera on the tour?
Absolutely, we encourage you to take as many pictures as you like to remember your time with us.
What should I bring on the tour?
- Photo ID/ Proof of Age
- Cash for the Cantinas
- A smile and a sense of humour!
Is there a dress code?
For the actual tour there is no dress code, however, you will be required to wear your new "I Survived!" Tacky Bar Tour T-shirt!
If you would like to continue on after the tour by yourself at Malecon many of the bars and clubs in this area have a dress code (particularly the clubs).
