Welcome to Puerto Vallarta! I'm Joanna, a Canadian, who came to Puerto Vallarta in April 2003. I found myself so taken with the many wonderful things about the city, that I just didn't want to leave, and the main reason I stayed is simple - the people. Their generosity, warmth, hospitality and the simplicity of their lives were things that I'd always longed for, but had never experienced.
A number of years ago I conceived the idea of taking others around on a tour of the local cantinas, and with the encouragement of friends, in 2006, created and opened Tacky Bar Tour to introduce visitors to the charm and friendliness of the people of Puerto Vallarta.
Our Cantina Crawl takes you to local establishments, often over-looked by the tourists, and provides them an opportunity to interact with the local residents while enjoying some fine cocktails and hospitality.
It is an honor, and a pleasure, to share this unique experience with you. Please join us, I promise you an evening you'll never forget (no matter how hard you try).
